About Us
Turning Interest Into Action
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Pamela's Big Heart Foundation emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 2017, we’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support. Making headlines hosting Yonkers first ever Peace Walk under our Yonkers Peace March Association group as well as a Forum Against Violence. Contact us to learn more and get involved.

Pamela's Big Heart Foundation knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2017, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Pamela's Big Heart Foundation.

One Step at a Time
At Pamela's Big Heart Foundation, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the issue of homelessness. Through our partnership with Bombas, a leading distributor of socks, we are able to provide free socks to shelters, Veterans, Children, Community members, and the Homeless two times a year! We know socks will never be enough and ending homelessness is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

Through clothing donations that we receive from community members and corporations, we are able to give back to the people within the community who need the help. With this initiative, our goal is to extend a helping hand to different organizations, community advocates, and community leaders within the Yonkers and the surrounding areas assisting in COVID-19 outreach. Through this difficult time, we want nothing more than to ensure that our community members have the necessities needed to maintain social distancing, families get meals and clothing, and essential workers are fed also supplied. After the death of his late brother Michael, James Nolan founded The Michael Nolan Foundation to not only keep the memory of his brother alive, but to help out in the community he lives in. His efforts with COVID-19 relief have been outstanding and we are happy to give back through them!

One Encouraging Another Hope Inc
Founder Annisha Monfries is an amazing woman with an amazing dream: to feed children in her community and beyond. We have partnered to feed children in our area during the Covid-19 crisis. Annisha has volunteered at our annual event #Supplies4Kids through her foundation, Annisha finds new and lasting ways to make an impact worldwide!

Yonkers Christian Assembly
Yonkers Christian Assembly run by Pastor Vincent Buda, has been a partner for over 2 years! Volunteering, donating, and hosting joint events has been our honor. Built on community outreach, worship, and the betterment of mankind they match our core values and ethics. Spreading faith and hope through prayer request and delivering Boxes of Hope to Yonkers residents and we are proud to work with Vincent Buda and The Yonkers Christian Assembly!
The Loyalty Foundation
The Loyalty Foundation seeks to narrow the digital divide that limits the future security and success of those in communities with limited access to technology resources and education.
The Hogue Foundation
The Hogue Foundation provides students and student athletes from marginalized groups with academic, athletic, emotional, and socioeconomic support pertinent to their maturation. The Hogue Foundation plans to achieve this through scholarship, community connections, financial literacy and social support.
We Art One: Yonkers Art Collective
We Art One is a Yonkers art collective that focuses on bringing the community together through the different arts. Art, Music, Healing, and so much more! We Art One also helps local artist receive commissioned mural jobs which was something that was not before embraced in Yonkers.
Childcare Council of Westchester, INC
The Child Care Council of Westchester is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that champions the healthy development of children, families and our community by promoting quality early care and education.
United Way of Westchester & Putnum
The United Way of Westchester and Putnam is dedicated to improving the lives of 40% of our neighbors who live in poverty or paycheck to paycheck. These are often hardworking families struggling to make ends meet and provide a better life for their children.
BOMBAS
We believe a more comfortable world is a better world. Everyone, no matter their circumstances, deserves to put on clean clothes that feel good. So we perfected socks and t-shirts you’ll want to live in. Created apparel you’ll never want to take off. And for every item you purchase for yourself, we donate an item to someone affected by homelessness.
Little Prodigies Remote Learning Center
Little Prodigies Remote Learning Center operates on the premise of L.O.V.E., encouraging learning, presenting opportunities, developing values, and building empathy for children and families. This program is different from other remote learning programs because the focus is given to the whole child and the goal is to follow them through their developmental stages, with thoughtful and enriching school programming that will add to their overall sense of consistency and resiliency. Partnering with P.U.S.H. after school programming, parents, and families is an imperative component to gaining trust and working collaboratively together with families and the community to attain academic, social, emotional, and developmental success for your child.

Thanksgiving sides and more pantry for the community. Three community members received turkeys with all of the sides, but all community members received blankets, broom sets, food items, coats, hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters, and more!

October 2020
Yonkers Community Leaders joined together In an effort to bring the necessary programs, test prep, funding, and career opportunities to Yonkers residents. Building Yonkers up together day by day, we are a group of movers and shakers who are in the know as far as what is actually happening in Yonkers. We are #BetterTogether and we want to build a better all inclusive Yonkers community.

October 2020
Community Leaders came together for a night of drinks, laughs, and sharing our stories! We vowed to come together each year to discuss our progress with our individual community projects and organizations. Many of our organizations have partnered and or are apart of the Yonkers Community Leaders Coalition.

This years Annual #Supplies4KidsProgram event included free haircuts, arts and crafts table, HBCU table, free book giveaway, boxes of hope, and of course school supplies for Yonkers children! We partnered with several organizations to make this event even bigger and even better!

This year our #Supplies4KidsProgram expanded to include grades 9-12 and we were honored to welcome Dennis Richmond Jr. to speak with high school about the history of HBCU's.

August 2020
Community pantry is hosted every last Wednesday of every month at the foundation. Community members can come and grab a box of Hope through our partnership with Yonkers Christian Assembly and other items well such as clothing, sneakers, and toiletries.

July 2020
This is year we attended and was a Grand Marshall of this amazing vigil in honor of Breonna Taylor and all of the black women lost to police brutality.

September 2018
This year we teamed up with Yonkers Christian Assembly and P.S. Charities to bring back packs and school supplies to children in the Yonkers community. Mayor Mike Spano and the African American Advisory board donated school supplies and back packs as well!

This event is held annually! Community children are given the tools that they need for success each school year.
